We have a spoiled little piney. I think that two squirrel blocks may be too much for the little gal as she buries them for later. While I'd like to say we clean the cages daily, we don't. She has a small parrot sized cage for sleeping, a larger tub sized cage that she keeps dolly in and a four foot by eight foot by two foot cage with a tree and a natural ground cover over plywood. We clean her bedding frequently but the larger area covered with leaves is left natural. When we cleaned it, we found about 20 squirrel blocks buried along with acorns and nuts. I believe two a day is just too much for her. She eats them right away, but really likes her avocado, pine cones, radicchio and acorns the best. That's okay, she still gets most of the nutrients from the squirrel blocks and they're far easier than making them yourself--also cheaper.
(Henry's Response: Smaller species, like Pine Squirrels, may eat less than two blocks per day. Larger species, like Fox Squirrels, may eat up to 3-4 blocks per day.)

Henry's blocks were perfect for helping my Chester to grow up happy and healthy! Never had any problem getting her to eat them! She LOVED them from the beginning (after I took away her absolute favorite - bananas!) Now I feed her the Adult Formula and she likes them even more than the Growth Formula! THANKS HENRY'S!!

Before my babies eyes were open I had henrys blocks in their cage. They were interested since then. Now they are about 3 months old and they eat henrys blocks like it was their favorite food. Its helped them maintain and grow into healthy squirrels. They are just beautifully furred and active the growth blocks have definately helped with this.

I've been feeding these blocks for the past 3 months. First it just sat there in the cage, then when waiting for me in the morning got a little longer :), they started to eat pieces of it (of course I cut it up some). Then they ate it more and more and now there is never the slightest crumb left. These blocks must be doing the job, because my three squirrels look absolutely great.

My 5 month old rescue baby wouldn't even taste other commercial rodent blocks before, even when they were covered in apple sauce! He loves this food more than acorns! I collect 2 types of acorns and feed fresh fruits and veggies, but these are the only pieces of food that don't end up all over my floor or the bottom of his cage.
I cut one block into about 10-12 little pieces and place them in his food bowl. He never lets this food go to waste, so I really get my money's worth, even though this isn't very expensive in the first place.

My little black squirrel doesn't exactly care for it, however I know he's just spoiled and would rather eat junk food all day. He NEEDS these nutrients so I just grind the food up with a coffee grinder or cheese grater then mix it with applesauce, baby food, or his particular favorite.... AVOCADO! He has no problem eating it all up then.

I have used HHB for both SFS and Wild Florida Grey Squirrels and they have both loved their HHB... the nutrition found in these blocks are great for the growth that is needed in rehabbed animals and for SFS that are kept as household pets... you will never go wrong when feeding HHB as a squirrels main diet.

I tried these with my foster squirrels for the first time and they all loved them. They all love them so much that they eat them on the spot. I never find pieces buried away and I clean their cages daily! I will definitely continue buying these for all my my squirrels.

My blocks arrived quick and fresh! As soon as they arrived, I gave one to my Gray (Dizzy) and she gobbled half and stored the other half. 2 minutes later she was already eating the other half- apparently it was too good to save for later! She never ate the rodent block as well, but now I can rest assured that she is getting a healthy diet with Henry's Healthy Blocks and her fresh foods.
Although Dizzy loves her fresh salad greens in the morning, the Healthy Blocks are the first to go. Thanks for such a great product!
