Description

Perfect Habitat for Squirrels, Flying Squirrels, Chipmunks, Ferrets, Sugar Gliders

Our squirrel Henry has this cage and he gives it two paws up! The bar spacing is excellent (3/8" vertical), perfect for squirrels, flying squirrels, chipmunks, sugar gliders and ferrets. The large front door allows easy access to the interior. There are also some smaller slide-up doors for easy access that can be secured with metal snaps or clips. There's a wire shelf with a ramp, and a slide-out bottom grate and plastic tray for easy cleaning. The lower shelf provides handy storage, and the cage rolls easily. The glossy finish makes cleaning a snap; just wipe with a damp cloth. Sturdy, roomy, and with better bar spacing than a Critter Nation-type cage. This is a quality rehabber-approved cage at a great price. Your cage will ship directly from the warehouse.

    Marty loves his new home

I was tickled when I received the cage. The quality of this cage is wonderful. The photos given for putting it together needed a bit more detail for a girl to put it together :)

Look elsewhere for small animal cages.

This cage has many flaws. My flyer has escaped multiple times in the past week. I have zip tied all the doors closed and he is still getting out. There is a huge gap in one of the corners where the bars were not welded properly.

Henry's Response: We're very sorry for the issue. We have sent a replacement panel and hope that fixes the problem.

    Cage short falls

Posted by Cheryl Hudnall on 15th Sep 2019

Doors are flimsy and do not lock so you need clips. I used 3 per door just because I also have dogs

Bottom rack is not attached. My granddaughter pushed from behind before I could catch her and the cage fell off the rolling rack. The cage is now wired to the rack.

Great size, love the storage underneath. The babies are having a ball

    Squirrel/Parrot Cage

Posted by L William Steinmeyer on 14th Sep 2019

I purchased this cage for my North Eastern Grey Squirrels and I couldn't be more pleased. It is much roomier than I imagined and my squirrels love it.. This cage was priced very competitively and the free shipping sealed the deal; I selected white and in this color it looks neat and clean and blends well with my furniture - YES we set it up in our living room where we all can enjoy our squirrels. I like this cage so much that I am going to be buying a second one. The cage comes with a pictured diagram that is self explanatory - tip: there are two different size threaded bolts, separate them into their groups before you start and it will help you understand and assemble the cage faster. One thing I would like to do is purchase a second shelf (it comes with one) there are holes for a second one - for one on each side and I am going to inquire to see if this is possible.

    extra large cage for squirrels

Posted by Beth on 22nd Jun 2019

My first year rehabbing squirrels, they chewed out of the plastic bottom ones I had. Newby, I didn't know.
I ordered this one, as well as a double stacking cage from someone else. The quality doesn't compare. This is by far a superior product.
I'm wanting more stacking cages, and this will be the place I shop first.
Their customer service rep Taylor, was awesome with me. I was stressed, and short in my emails. She NEVER lost her composure. I apologize again to her.

    Nice cage

Great for squirrels, he loves climbing up to the top. Nicely constructed, easy to clean. Looks nice with leafy branches mounted inside, he is happy with it so I am too.

    No instructions

Posted by Nancy A Hawn on 27th Jun 2018

Included in the box were just 1 diagram the cage, indicating 2 sizes of screws. I received 8 of one size, the longest, 4 slightly shorter, 12 shorter than the others, and 13 nuts.
I guess we're supposed to figure it out. Maybe it will be nice when we get it figured out.

Henry's Response: We're sorry about the poor instructions. I think you'll find it's a good cage once you get it put together. If you need help, please give us a call.
