Picky Blocks - Food for Squirrels, Flyers, Rats and Mice
Specially developed for extra picky squirrels! More 100% natural Georgia pecans, a little extra wheat flour, and a touch of sweetness work together to make a yummy “cookie taste”, but with a low glycemic load. Picky Blocks are vitamin-enriched supplements that contain the vital nutrients your squirrel needs to stay healthy and happy. Picky Blocks are baked fresh daily with 100% natural, high-quality ingredients by people who care.
Henry’s Blocks are the only natural supplement made especially for your squirrel’s diet with 100% of the vitamins and minerals they need to avoid common diseases like Metabolic Bone Disease and promote bone and organ health. Unlike other rodent/pet foods that are dry and flavorless, Henry’s Blocks are freshly baked daily with only 100% natural ingredients and no preservatives, fillers, or artificial sweeteners.
Henry’s Blocks are a tasty and delicious way to give your squirrel the nutrition they need. Blocks are perishable and must be frozen upon arrival!
Feeding and Storage Guidelines: One bag contains enough Healthy Blocks to feed an average-sized adult squirrel for one month. Blocks contain no preservatives or fillers and must be kept frozen.
- Adult Squirrels: Feed 2-3 blocks per day.
- Flying Squirrels, Adolescent Squirrels, Rats, and Mice: Feed 1-1.5 blocks per day.
- Blocks must be stored in a freezer to preserve freshness. Blocks can be kept in the freezer for up to 6 months, but the blocks will begin to lose their flavor after the first 2 months.
- Ensure the bag is firmly resealed after each opening - exposure to air can lead to freezer burn.
- To serve blocks thawed, a few blocks can be pulled from the freezer and kept in the refrigerator for a couple of days at a time.
Perishable - Freeze Immediately Upon Arrival!

My Rocky and Kiki both love the picky blocks. I've bought these for over 10 years. They are always fresh.
I’ve been buying these blocks for years. And the shipping has always been overnight. I ordered two bags of blocks last week, and every morning I’ve been checking my porch looking for the package. A WEEK LATER my husband gets home at 7pm, and brings in the mail, and with it is a box - the box of picky blocks I ordered - which has been sitting in my hot mailbox in the Texas heat for hours. I am LIVID. The box was shipped on the 15th, and today is the 20th. So FIVE DAYS LATER I get the blocks - which are supposed to be kept frozen - and they’re hot. There are no cold packs in the box. The blocks are hot. They’re squishy. There’s no way I’m feeding these to my squirrels. WTF is going on with your service?? You don’t send perishable food that’s supposed to be kept frozen, by ground. I demand a refund or a new order overnighted to me. I’m absolutely disgusted with your “service.” There is no excuse for sending a perishable product ground. NONE.
Henry's Response -
We do not send the blocks out frozen or overnight unless you select the overnight shipping option. As indicated in our listings Henry's Blocks are a freshly baked product like brownies or cookies and packaged with an oxygen absorber that will keep the blocks safe in transit for 7 days. If for any reason you do see mold growing on the blocks please let us know and we would be more than happy to replace them. Just remember to put them in the freezer as soon as you can and the blocks will be perfectly fine!
